"Counting Coup on the Greasy Grass"
Just received an announcement from Mary Bones, Curator at the Museum of the Big Bend at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. An image of mine, "Counting Coup on the Greasy Grass" (taken from the oil painting) will be used this fall on an interpretive panel in a presentation on the archeology of the Big Bend. The rock art site at Myers Springs features images representing more than 2,000 years of time. Amongst all the ancient rock art, my work will be in the best of company.
